Nurturing Bright Beginnings
Our programs are play-based, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate for each age group. Families receive real-time updates through the Lillio app — a simple, secure way to stay connected to your child’s day.
Toddler Program
Toddlers explore through movement, song, and hands-on discovery. Our educators support early communication, motor skills, and social play in a calm and engaging space. Routines like snack, nap, and outdoor time help toddlers feel secure and independent. Catered lunch and snacks are provided daily.
18 MONTHS–2½ YEARS | FULL DAY CARE PROGRAM
Preschool Program
2½–4 YEARS | FULL DAY CARE PROGRAM
Preschoolers at Sunnylea Childcare Centre learn through curiosity and cooperation. We focus on early literacy, problem-solving, and creative expression, preparing children for a smooth transition to kindergarten. Each day includes outdoor play, group activities, and time to follow their own interests. Catered lunch and snacks are provided daily.
School Age Before and After Care
Our before- and after-school programs offer a warm and active environment where children can unwind, play, and connect. Activities range from crafts and games to outdoor recreation and homework support, all led by qualified staff who make sure every child feels part of the group. Healthy snacks are provided during each session.
The program also offers care on PA Days, most school closure days, and weekly summer camps, providing flexibility and continuity for families year-round.
JK–GRADE 5
Nutrition, Fees and Enrollment
Meals and snacks are provided through Yummy Catering, offering healthy, child- friendly options that meet the Canada Food Guide. Allergies and dietary needs are carefully managed.
Sunnylea participates in Ontario’s Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) program, helping families access quality care at a reduced cost. We also accept City of Toronto Child Care Fee Subsidies for eligible families.
Enrollment is limited to families who live within the Sunnylea Junior School catchment area.
